Åstol Guest Harbor
Location: approx. 57°34.2′ N, 11°40.1′ E
Nautical Charts: Swedish nautical charts 931 SE and 9313 SE, which cover the approaches and surrounding waters of the southern archipelago.
Harbor Depth: The water depth in the guest harbor is typically around 3–4 meters, suitable for leisure yachts and cruising vessels that meet the draft requirements. Depth can vary slightly with tide, so attention is advised on approach.
Guest Berths: Åstol Guest Harbor offers a selection of guest berths for visiting boats along the quay and within the protected basin. Exact berth counts vary based on season and water level.
Mooring: Alongside mooring at quay is the primary option. Fixed stern mooring may be used depending on instructions from harbor personnel. Anchoring outside the inner harbor may be possible in designated spots if indicated locally.
Åstol Guest Harbor is located on Åstol Island, one of the small islands in the southern part of the Gothenburg Archipelago, Sweden. Åstol is a quaint, car free island with colourful fishermen’s cottages, narrow paths, and a peaceful, authentic archipelago atmosphere. The harbor is in the main settlement, within easy walking distance of island cafés, a shop, bathing areas, and scenic walking routes.
